The Indoor PIR Motion Detector is a wireless, passive infrared motion sensor designed for home and commercial security systems. It is commonly used as a peripheral for alarm hosts, utilizing high-performance infrared sensors to detect human movement while minimizing false alarms from environmental factors.

Product features

• Pet immunity: the unit includes basic pet immunity, which prevents the alarm from triggering when small animals move across the floor, provided the sensor is mounted at the correct height.
• Low power consumption: the sensor is designed with a ‘power saving‘ mode. After a trigger, it may enter a brief standby period before it can trigger again, which significantly extends the battery life.
• 2-in-1 function: the sensor has a tamper protection and alert function:
  • LED indicator: a light usually flashes to indicate a trigger or a self-test.
  • Low battery warning: when integrated with a compatible alarm panel, the sensor can send a signal when the battery voltage drops below a certain threshold.
  • Tamper switch: features a rear tamper switch that triggers an alarm if the sensor is forcibly removed from its bracket.
• Wireless connection: the sensor does not need any cables to connect to your security alarm system. Just pair it to your alarm system and then mount it to a wall.
