The Irrigation Solenoid Valve is a heavy-duty, professional-grade 1-inch irrigation valve.
Product features
- Manual external bleed: a dedicated screw allows you to manually open the valve during system start-up or testing by discharging water outside the valve.
- Manual internal bleed: You can also operate the valve manually through the solenoid without spraying water externally.
- Removable metering pin: this allows for easy cleaning of the diaphragm port without having to disassemble the valve fully.
- Durable construction: built with corrosion and UV-resistant PVC to handle harsh environmental conditions.

Maintenance and set-up
- Cleaning: the external bleed screw and metering pin can be removed for quick debris removal, which is essential if using non-potable water.
- Orientation: this valve is a globe-style valve, meaning water enters one side and exits the opposite side on the same horizontal plane.
- Compatibility: it is often considered a direct equivalent to other professional valves like the Rain Bird 100-HV or Hunter PGV 1″.
Please note that when cleaning the diaphragm port, make sure there is no dust or small particles on the side of the diaphragm, as this will cause the solenoid not to work properly.
