Smart Energy Monitor 2x Clamp Meter can be used in any application up to 80A to accurately measure power consumption. The unit makes use of 2x Clamp Meters or CTs (current transducers). The benefit of these units is that they merely ‘clamp onto the power cable’ & are therefore non-intrusive & simple to install. The unit can for example be used to monitor your total power consumption like your geyser & pool pump etc. The main control unit is very small & has a DIN rail mountable & therefore be fitted into your DB.

It can be used to make any home, office or factory ‘Smart’ while monitoring the amount of energy used. By adding Smart Switches you can also switch on/off any device based on a preset current limit from this device. e.g. above a certain current switch off the geyser & switch on again below a certain value etc. All this can be remotely done through your Smart Life App.

• • Does not require any wiring, it is simple & fast to install. Ensure to switch off all power before fitting the clamps.
  • The unit is for single-phase (230VAC) homes, rental units, small offices, geysers, power saving etc.
  • Smart products can be switched on/off when certain current thresholds are reached.
  • The CTs are directional & must be placed with the arrow pointing towards the load.
