A Smart DC 10A Basic Switch is a versatile low-voltage controller that integrates non-smart DC devices or circuits into a smart home ecosystem. Unlike standard smart switches that output the same voltage they are powered by, a dry contact version acts as a secondary, isolated relay.
How does the dry contact work?
Think of the device as having two distinct “sides”:
- The power side: connected to a constant power source.
- The contact side: two terminals that are labeled as COM and NO (normally open) act exactly like a manual wall switch.

- Intercom integration: it can be used to “press” the electronic release button on an existing intercom system remotely.
- Inching/momentary mode: support “inching,” where the switch closes for 0.5 to 1 second and then automatically opens, mimicking a physical button press.

I must still connect the switch, but the service I received was nice and fast and the switch looks exactly what I ordered, I will order from them again

The switch is easy to set up and works well so far.The 12 volt one had nice big screws for power but the 250 volt has very tiny delicate screws which are delicate and close together.The 250volt one should have screws like the 12volt one.Bit worried about 250 volts and close together tiny screws.
