This High Current load Basic 20A Smart WIFI switch + 433Mhz can be used to make any device or appliance that uses a mains input of 230V Smart. Simply, ‘Wire, Configure and Play’. Smart home switch 16A or 3500 watts.
The optional 4Channel 433Mhz ‘Long Range Remote’ control offers you the additional option to control up to four 16A switches in locations where no WiFi signal is present. The 433Mhz has a range of 1000m/ 1Km LOS (line of sight) with the antenna fully extended which is much further than WiFi. Vegetation and obstacles such as walls or metal enclosures will adversely affect the range.
This 20A 4.4KW unit replaces our popular 16A version.
Typical Applications & Uses
Suitable for farms, small holdings, larger homes or any area where your WiFi range is limited. irrigation, gate or access control, alarm systems. The switch can be connected to a relay to switch larger currents or even 3 phase pumps etc.
This 433MHz remote is a ‘single code’ unit and can be paired with any 4x switches that support 433Mhz per single remote.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Switch and Remote are sold separately due to the fact that 1 Remote can control up to 4x switches. Switch and/or Remote must be purchased separately as 2 items. (you need only purchase 1 remote for every 4 switches).
- Mount the switch in a plastic waterproof housing [click here] is preferred. (a steel cabinet for example will reduce the range)
- Your standard garage door and gate remotes are most likely ‘rolling code’ remotes and are NOT compatible with this switch.

HOW TO Pair the 433Mhz remote
- Connect your input 230VAC and output to the 16A smart switch.
- Press the button on the remote (A, B, C or D) you wish to pair fast 4 times.
- The switch will now be paired to the remote as ‘latching mode’. One click = ON another click =OFF.
- You can now also connect the switch to the Smart Life via your cell Phone as per above video.
- Repeat using other buttons to pair additional switches as required.
- To remove all remote programming fast push the relevant button 8 times.
